In the beginning when God created man on the earth, He also planted the garden of Eden and He placed a man called Adam in it. He gave Adam a commandment and the consequence of eating from one of the trees which the Lord our God had planted in the midst of the garden of Eden. Why did the Lord placed that tree which carried the penalty of death in the garden of Eden? Does that commandment apply to us today? Is there a commandment similar to the one the Lord gave Adam in the garden of Eden, which can nullify the penalty of death?
