Is God's love, conditional or unconditional? This is a subject we are not qualified to address because of our limited understanding of who God is and what is God's will. Since we have been created with a free will, it is doubtless that we are greatly loved but does it mean the love of God is unconditional? We should not confuse God's mercy, pity, compassion and longsuffering to be unconditional love. There are two facets to God's love but to qualify for the higher facet which is eternal life the are prerequisite requirements.
God's Love: Conditional or Unconditional
The greatest commandment of the law is to love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your mind, Is that not enough to lead us to believe that God's love is conditional? if two or more people can not walk together except they agree, does it not mean there are many conditions to life? You will confirm at the end of this study that God's love is conditional.
